In this 4 hour workshop we will explore the subject of anatomy for the practice of asana (physical posture). This is not your standard ‘learn the names of the muscles’ kinda day. We will target the most relevant key factors that directly determine our unique experiences of movement and stretch. Our focus: how and why should we arrange ourselves differently to the practitioner on the mat next to us? In this workshop you will acquire the essential tools to employ safe and effective alignment in a physical yoga practice. You will leave with the building blocks for a deeper understanding of the body and posture.
