There is vast research proving the incredible benefits of breathing techniques to help bring us back into our bodies and out of our busy, anxious minds.

This three hour workshop will take you into a deeper knowledge of the power of your own breath. You will explore various breathing and mindfulness techniques that can be taken off your mat and into your day to day life.

"In a time where we are busier than ever, coming into calm, stillness and rest has become the most challenging practice …whether on your sofa, at your desk, or on your yoga mat.

Being able to observe & explore your breath is a vital part in this process. It acts as an ever accessible anchor for the mind to settle & fully observe ~ Is an essential part of keeping our bodies fit & healthy ~ Enables us to stay steady in our bodies as we advance our asana practice ~ Is also one of the the most effective tools to intercepting stress & anxiety.

During this inclusive, experiential & explorative afternoon, we will learn to skilfully use the breath & some simple movement to support improve your breathing habits, your overall health, lift energy when sluggish, settle you when restless, support & further your yoga, meditation or self-care practices. We will look at the physiological elements of the breath and why it has such a profound effect on our state of mind and body and put it all into practice so you can find what works for your unique self."

Hannah is a trained Yoga Therapist, accredited by the Complementary Natural Health Council and is at home in a yoga studio, as she is sharing yoga in care homes, mental health wards & special needs schools.
