This workshop will introduce the benefits of Ayurveda, which is the ancient traditional medical system from India and shares the same philosophy as Yoga. Ayurveda provides a way to greater health to minimize disease formation by combining simple daily routine, herbs and right food suitable for your constitution.
During the two hours you will learn to understand your unique constitution, the qualities of the doshas related to the five elements, and their impact on your health when they become imbalanced. The first part will introduce you to the basic principles of Ayurveda, and will include an interactive practice (pairing-up), based on observation and feedback. During the second part we will look on how integrating an ayurvedic lifestyle can help you keep optimum health.
Who is it for? This workshop is for total beginners and those who already have some understanding and would like to consolidate their knowledge.
What to bring: Please bring a notebook and a pen for taking notes and for doing the pair-up exercises.
