Laura Graham-Dulleart has been teaching Yoga for over a decade. As a person with hypermobility, she started to realise that she needed to find additional, intelligent ways of moving her body that support her physical well being as well as her yoga practice.
This workshop has Yoga at it's heart, but with very few 'yoga looking' shapes.
The aim of the workshop is to emphasise that variety in the way we move is key to a healthy happy body. Functional movement complements peoples' existing practice by drawing from lots of different disciplines.
Laura uses tools and methods learned from various different bodyworkers and movement specialists to help people warm up/cool down better, use therapeutic tools for myofascial release (self massage) and introduce strength and conditioning too. Plus fun in the form of balancing/animal type movements and coordination.
Absolutely everybody is welcome, whether or not you have a yoga practice or not.
